Outfit Of The Day

Just a quick OFTD post from me! Our housemate foolishly left her SLR camera lying around so me and Mathilde decided to take the opportunity to take some blog pictures! Amongst er lots of other stupid ones of us jumping around with flowers which I wont put on here!

So this dress has been sitting in my wardrobe for about a month now just waiting for some sun, I snapped it up in HnM and planned to wear it with little brown leather sandles and a pair of sunnies. Obviously I forgot I live in the not so sunny North West/East. In the end I decided that whilst the weathers not so great I'll layer it with a big blazer, belt and boots in Autumn greens and browns to bring it into season (even though I know I should be dressing for S/S it feels more appropriate to be dressing for A/W at the minute!) Anyway, the blazer is from Zara (THE best store for a good blazer in my opinion), belt I found in my mums wardrobe and snook back to Newcastle and boots from Urban Outfitters. Has anyone else given in and worn something you were saving for summer!?

Vogue-aholic

My love...ok I'm going to say it, my slight obession with Vogue started when I was 17 and I'd already plowed my way through Cosmo, Look, Glamour etc so I decided to give Vogue a read. I remember I enjoyed buying it and pretending I was some sort of fountain of fashion knowledge (I really wasn't). Little did I know how amazing it was! I've got to admit I don't read it back to front and I don't pour over all the articles but I have had my eyes opened to a world of fashion I doubt I would have ever came across otherwise.

Now I pay £60.00 for a 2 year subscription (Barginnnnn) and every month when it gets delivered me and Sally get a little bit overexcited and end up "Ooohing and Ahhing" over basically everything in there (also crying a little because we can't afford any of it...one day, one day.) So, the reason I'm blogging about this is because they've been piling up on my dressing table for months and I couldn't not take their picture but also because I've decided (Sal doesn't know yet) that every month I'd like us to choose our fave look from the new Vogue and see if we can achieve near the same kind of thing with our beloved high street!

Sally's in Uni and work all today but she mentioned blogging about shoes when she gets a chance (she works harddddddd) so keep your eyes peeled for that because it should be really good! :)

Does anybody else have a love affair with Vogue UK or any other fashion mags to suggest? P.s. I know Novembers issue is missing, somebody spilt a glass of water over it, it took every bit of moral fibre in me not to scream at them.

Hello!

Heyyy, so this is us Lizzie (left) and Sally (right)! Just a little introductory post about us, our style and everything else really. I'm Lizzie, I'm from Liverpool which is probably what sparked my interest in fashion and beauty! I'm a second year Psychology student at Newcastle Uni which is where I met Sal! Sally's from leeds and has the most extensive collection of shoes I have ever seen. She studies English Lit and will one day be a PR giant, and that's just us!

 I saw this bag in HnM for £15.00 it's probably one of my best buys for a while, i use it pretty much everyday so working from price per usage it was well worth it!

 

 Then there's sally's Mulberry (jealous) it kind of puts my little HnM bargin to shame, in Sally's words "this bag is my child" Sum's it all up really.
